Shuttle Craft Canada made a splash
at the 1997 SABEX competition Thursday night by coming away with
the business of the year and the business venture awards.
The young Saskatoon company has
been making headlines since 1993 with a boat hull that attaches
to personal watercraft. The company began its career with 26 unit
sales in 1994, jumping to 996 units worth 6 million in 1996.
The business venture award goes
to a company that has been in existence for three years or less
and shows promise in profitability, job creation or new market
